Historic Beverly, Massachusetts, is located on the Atlantic seacoast about halfway between Boston to the south and Cape Ann to the north. Here citizens have struck a unique balance between business and cultural development on the one hand and natural beauty on the other. It's easy to see why people are attracted to settle in this community to raise their families. A short distance by commuter rail from the cultural amenities of Boston, Beverly nonetheless has all the charm of a typical New England seaside town and lots of amenities of its own, from sailing out of Beverly harbor to golf at the Beverly Golf and Tennis Club to horseback riding in Beverly Farms, from fine dining at an eclectic mix of restaurants to fine arts at the Montserrat and Mingo Galleries, from historic colonial-era homes to vibrant centers for computer and biotech industry.

A community can be judged by how well it treats its children, and Beverly is a great place to be a child. It's a town full of parks, ball fields, and first-rate public and private schools.
